Irish Language Scheme - Request for submissions

The Commissioner for Data Protection is preparing a new Irish Language scheme in accordance with Section 15 of the Official Languages Act 2003. For more information, read the current Language Scheme of the Data Protection Commission.
The Commissioner for Data Protection is inviting submissions from interested parties on amendments they wish to propose to the current scheme. Submissions should ideally not exceed 4,000 words (around eight pages) and be submitted by email to customerservice@dataprotection.ie with the subject line "Submission for Draft Irish Language Scheme - 2023". The submissions received may be published on the DPC's website.
The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm, 26 July 2023.
