Access for people with disabilities

 

The role of our access officer is to arrange for help for people with disabilities so that they can access the services provided by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.  If you have a disability and require assistance to access our services, please contact our access officer Caroline Rawlinson on 1890 252 231 or 057 868 4800.  Alternatively you can contact the access officer by sending an email to "info@dataprotection.ie" and marking it for the attention of the access officer.  You can also write to the access officer at the following address:

If you wish to make a complaint in relation to access to the services of the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner and the Office's compliance with the terms of the Disability Act 2005, you should forward the complaint to:

or contact the access officer as outlined above for assistance in making your complaint.  On receipt of your complaint the Commissioner will refer the complaint for independent investigation by an inquiry officer.  The inquiry officer will examine the matter and prepare a written report.  A copy of this report will be given to you and to the Commissioner.  The report will set out the findings and any recommendations of the Inquiry Officer in relation to the Office's compliance with the Disability Act.
