Article 29 Working Party

The Article 29 Working Party is made up of all the EU Data Protection Commissioners and a representative of the EU Commission. The Working Party is independent and acts in an advisory capacity. It seeks to harmonise the application of data protection rules throughout the EU, and publishes opinions and recommendations on various data protection topics.
