Registration Legislation

Sections 16 to 20 of the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003 list the regulations for Registration under the Act.

S.I.657 of 2007:  The categories of Data Controller and Data Processor who are required to register are set out at Section 4 of this Statutory Instrument.  You cannot claim an exemption at Section 3 of this Statutory Instrument if you fall into Section 4.

S.I. 658 of 2007:  The fees for registering as a Data Contoller or Data Processor, fees for making modifications to a registration and fees for renewing your registration for another year.
