29th International Conference of Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners, Montreal, September 2007

The 29th International Conference took place in Montreal, Canada, from 25 to 28 September 2007.  The theme of the Conference was Privacy Horizons: Terra Incognita. The Conference approved Resolutions on: the need for  global standards for safeguarding passenger data;  development of international (data protection) standards; international cooperation among data protection authorities; and conference organisational arrangements.  Further information on the Conference is available at:
