Purpose: 1.The applicant will be a licensed bank and a designated mortgage credit institution (within the meaning of the Asset Covered Securities Act, 2001 as amended (the"Act")).As such the applicant''s primary business will be the provision of mortgages, the raising of funds from the public, the issuing of mortgage covered securities and the carrying on of other permitted business activities as described under section 27 of the Act.2.Customer data will be utilised in the provision of personal and non personal banking services, marketing and selling (including direct mailing and telemarketing): the provision of mortgages and statistical analysis; the processing of data for third parties; telephone banking services internet banking administration of customer data securitisation, mortgages covered securities and other financial products, personnel records and payroll records.Without prejudice to the foregoing this will specifically include: i) the management administration servicing and processing of customers'' applications and any mortgage loan or account, or policies of insurance on an on-going basis whether by the applicant, the Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. corporate group (the "Group") (or by any duly authorised agents of either) and for on-going credit review and analysis; ii) the purposes specified in the applicants mortgage application forms in any offer letters and in any deeds of mortgage, charge and confirmation or other security documents and for any other purposes where the customer has given his or her specific consent to such purposes in relevant documentation;iii) the carrying out of statistical analysis and market research;iv) the maintenance of a ''''single view'''' of a customers relationship with the Applicant and the group and the transfer of data between the Applicant and the group and their duly authorised agents and the inclusion, or linking to a customers data onto a group database and the management and development of relationship between customers and for general business purposes; v) the making of searches and the disclosure of data to credit reference agencies for the purpose of processing applications for credit and credit related services and for ongoing credit review, to the recording of any transaction which may result from an application for credit with the Irish Credit Bureau, any successors thereto or any other such credit reference agency or agencies (hereinafter referred to as "ICB") recording, retaining and disclosing trials of searches made against customers for a period of one year prior to and one year subsequent to the date of the search. 3.ICB disclosing details of any transaction which result from customers applications for credit to financial institutions participating in the ICB (and financial institutions participating in the ICB) disclosing to each other any data contained in applications by customers for financial services: vi) the transfer of data abroad but only for any of the purposes specified above who have been approved by the Applicant or the group in a manner compliant with applicable Data Protection legislation;vii) (to assign or transfer mortgage loans and their related security whether in connection with any loan assignment, transfer and securitisation scheme or otherwise; to participate in or take up any role in any loan assignment/ transfer and securitisation scheme to take part in any other assignment/ transfer (wherein the benefit of certain mortgage loans and all or some of the security taken in respect of such loans are transferred); to create encumbrance or other security interest over mortgage loans and their related security so as to participate in any collateralisation scheme or to create any other encumbrance or security interest (wherein the benefit of certain loaned and all or some of the security taken in respect of such loans is used as a security for the applicants indebtedness) to any persons; to take part in the servicing, managing administering and processing of mortgage loans and related security of all nature and description for the bank itself for other lenders and other parties entitled to the benefit or such loans whether under any assignment/ transfer howsoever arising and the maintenance and operation of a cover assets pool in accordance with the Act C) ICB disclosing details of any transaction which result from customers applications for credit to financial institutions participating in the ICB (and financial institutions participating in the ICB) disclosing to each other any data contained in applications by customers for financial services: vi) the transfer of data abroad but only for any of the purposes specified above who have been approved by the Applicant or the group in a manner compliant with applicable Data Protection legislation.vii) (to assign or transfer mortgage loans and their related security whether in connection with any loan assignment, transfer and securitisation scheme or otherwise;to participate in or take up any role in any loan assignment/ transfer and securitisation scheme to take part in any other assignment/ transfer (wherein the benefit of certain mortgage loans and all or some of the security taken in respect of such loans are transferred); to create encumbrance or other security interest over mortgage loans and their related security so as to participate in any collateralisation scheme or to create any other encumbrance or security interest (wherein the benefit of certain loaned and all or some of the security taken in respect of such loans is used as a security for the applicants indebtedness) to any persons; to take part in the servicing, managing administering and processing of mortgage loans and related security of all nature and description for the bank itself for other lenders and other parties entitled to the benefit or such loans whether under any assignment/ transfer howsoever arising and the maintenance and operation of a cover assets pool in accordance with the Act.

Description: The processing, underwriting, administration and all other activities engaged in by a bank including a designated mortgage credit institution under the Act relating to mortgage loans and related products: all information that will be disclosed by a customer in order to obtain a mortgage loan from a bank and to raise funds from the public (whether by issuing mortgage covered securities and in general to allow for the provision of "permitted business activities" as described under section 27 of the Act and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing such information includes, name address, date of birth, marital status, security address, employment details income and other financial details etc. the processing, administration and all other activities engaged in by a licensed bank (including a designated mortgage credit institution under the Act. The marketing research and survey of customers: (as above) Mortgage loan and related security holding, using, disclosing, processing, management, agency, administration and accounting, fund rasing and related activities servicing of mortgage loans and description for the Applicant itself, for other members of the group and other parties entitled to the benefit of mortgage loans under any transfer/ assignment, any loan assignment/ transfer and securitisation scheme, collateralisation scheme or any other encumbrance or security interest or otherwise howsoever arising and the maintenance and operation of a cover assets pool in accordance with the act. personnel records, payroll records as are required to be kept by an employer; usual details are required to be kept by an employer, name address, PPSN, salary details etc. etc.
Disclosees: 1. Employees of the Applicant and other members of the Group, including EBS group companies.2. Agents and sub-agents of members of the Group.3. Individuals or companies employed by the Applicant or other members of the Group to carry out specific services - direct mailing, survey, research etc.4. ICB, credit reference agencies and other financial institutions.5. Computer maintenance and service personnel.6. Relatives/ guardians/ legal representatives of data subjects.7. Agents of customers.8. Companies to which agency services are provided.9. Regulators including the Central Bank, the cover assets monitor appointed under the Act and any manager appointed under the Act. 10. The Revenue Commissioners, the Department of the Environment, Heritage and local Governmental others as required by law or otherwise agreed directly or indirectly with data subjects.11. Any legal entities and persons directly or indirectly interested in or participating whether directly or indirectly in any transfer/ agreement; mortgage loan assignment/ transfer and securitisation schemes any collateralisation scheme or any other encumbrance howsoever arising and the maintenance and operation of a cover assets pool in accordance with the Act.12.Personal Insolvency.Information listed regarding any relevant debt included in, or anticipated to be included in an ''Arrangement'' to which the AIB Group is or may be party pursuant to the Personal Insolvency Act 2012, can be provided to personal insolvency practitioners in order for them to do or perform any and all lawful acts or things from time to time in connection with the Personal Insolvency Act 2012.
